Ida Elizabeth Sharpe

Sharpe, Ida E. – 83 - It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our dear mother, Ida Elizabeth (Rudolph) (Thomson) Sharpe, on December 27, 2011, at Melville Gardens, Spryfield. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Daughter of the late William Richard Callaghan and Dora Rudolph, she is survived by children, Rachel (Einar) Falldien, Ellershouse; Robert (Donna) Thomson, Halifax; Olive (Donald) Murphy, Ellershouse; William P. Thomson, B.Comm., LL.B., Halifax; Catherine Thomson, Edmonton; and Brian (Isabel) Thomson, Edmonton; 14 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Ida was predeceased by her first husband, Robert Thomson, and an infant granddaughter. Arrangements for cremation have been entrusted to J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax, where a reception to celebrate Ida’s life will be held at 2PM on Saturday, January 28. Interment will be held at a later date.
