Debra Ann Doucet

DOUCET, (Slaunwhite) Debra Ann – 61, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 in the Halifax Infirmary. Born March 1, 1950 in Terence Bay, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Mary (Ryan) Slaunwhite. Debra loved to read and spend time with her grandchildren, she was kind person with a big heart, she was taken from this earth too soon, and she will be forever loved and forever missed. Debra is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Joseph; children, Crystal (Shelly) Emerson, Richard (Terri-Ann) Winters , Terri-Lynne (Jody) Dunnett , Justin (Tarra) Comeau;  grandchildren, Robyne, Britney, Kirtus, Terrance, Robert, Nicole, Tyler, Katie, Karrah, Tonja, Ashley, Gage and Payton; sisters, Peggy (Richard) Doull, Hilda (Roy) Baker, Gloria Walker, Paulette Slaunwhite, Kathleen (Allen) Dunbrack; brothers, Robert and Michael Slaunwhite. She was predeceased by her sister, Marion Slaunwhite. Arrangements are under the direction of J. A. Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax (477-5601). A service of remembrance will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at 11 AM from the funeral home chapel, Rev. Russell Saulnier officiating; reception to follow. Paulette, don't know if you remember me. I moved to Terence Bay back in the 60's when I was 9,across the road from "Rob's girls" next to Greg & Marie Slaunwhite, my second family.
