my thoughts are with your family at this time. my memories of ruth, while i was a young child and her friendship with my mother, Juanita Rose. Ruth would often take me shopping with her and her generousity towards me, I will always remember fondly. She was a very close neighbour of my mom, and was good company for my mom, at my mothers worst time when she lost my dad, Garnet Rose. Ruth will never be forgotten.

I will be unable to attend the funeral tommorrow because of a previous committment but know that we are certainly thinking of you because of your being there to support us when Dad passed. My heart goes out to my family at this time of sadness. Aunt Ruth was married to my Uncle Gearld and she was the only aunt that I knew. I loved her dearly and always will. I just learned of her passing so I couldn't be there. She will be sadly missed but fondly always remembered.

I had the opportunity to meet Ruth on several occasions just over the past year. I enjoyed meeting her very much. She was full of marked determination and spunk even when not feeling well, and always had a mind of her own. I was truly saddened to hear of her passing.
