Margaret Mary Bridget "Peggy" Hogan

1953-2012

Margaret Mary Bridget "Peggy" Hogan

HOGAN, Margaret  Mary "Peggy"– 58, Halifax, on May 24, 2012, Peggy passed away at home peacefully surrounded by her family. Born on September 28, 1953, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Marion (Kennedy) Fall. She will be sadly missed as a grandmother, mother, wife, sister, aunt and a good friend to all.  She was a very loving grandmother to her granddaughters Grace and Elisenn, they both adored her very much.  Peggy enjoyed spending time with her husband Tom "at the camp" where they enjoyed many good times with their children and friends.  Peggy was also known to love a good game of cards as well.  She is survived by her  loving husband, Tom; son, Edward, Sambro Head; daughter, Eileen Hogan (Maykel), Fergusons Cove; grandchildren, Grace Hogan and Elisenn Nunez-Hogan; four sisters, Elizabeth Rock, Ottawa; Christine Purcell, Herring Cove; Viola Sheals (Tony), Windsor; Sarah Gray (Rodney), Herring Cove; one brother, Allan Fall, Halifax.  Besides her parents, Peggy was predeceased by nephew, Michael Little.  Arrangements are under the care of J.A. Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd, 149 Herring Cove Rd, (477-5601), where a funeral service will be held Tuesday May 29 at 10 a.m., with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.   Many thanks to Chris Henneberry, a very dear and close friend to the family, and to Peggy’s sister Sarah-you are an angel on earth.

Just got back from NL and are so shocked and sad to hear about Peggy. Hope happy memories soon replace your sadness. Maybe Emily Dickinson's words will bring some comfort: "Life is not conclusion, a sequel stands beyond - invisible as music, but positive as sound." Hugs and Love...Glenda & Roy xoxox
